The birth of real estate
Before there was a real estate industry, there was a real estate broker. A broker would help to facilitate land transactions. He helped to help get properties across state lines. He was an advisor on how to build new houses. He also worked to help get properties to buyers. These are some of the basic concepts to the history of real estate. Elements of real estate There are some essential elements to the real estate industry. These are what make up what you might recognize as real estate: land, a building or structure, and a buyer. But there’s more to it than that. An agent or broker would take the buyer’s information and find out what the property was worth. They would find a buyer for the property and negotiate for them to buy it. They would then help to sell the property to the buyer.

What is Real Estate?
Real Estate is the sale of any real property. For instance: a house, land, or business. This could be a property that you own, or it could be a property you lease. In some cases, a real estate agent can help guide you to the right property for the right price. These real estate agents can either be an owner, or they can work for a company like Keller Williams Realty. In Real Estate, Clients Choose The Agent A lot of clients choose an agent to help them buy or sell. Some of these agents are the owners of real estate companies, and some are just an independent contractor. Other agents just focus on selling homes, and some help their clients sell homes. When clients choose an agent, they don’t usually select the one they like the best. Clients choose the agent that they like the most.

The first commercial real estate documents were written in 1730. Before that, people used land trusts to avoid paying property taxes. Land laws were in place before the US was even a country. For example, in England, every county had to have a public forest.
A Timeline of Major Events in the Industry
Things didn’t begin too badly. Before the turn of the 17th century, most people lived as tenant farmers with no way of keeping property beyond their immediate family. Things took a turn for the worse in the 1700s when wealthy landowners in Europe began seizing land from the peasants who had worked on it. Before long, a process called enclosure began to take hold in England. It caused a great deal of poverty in Ireland and Scotland. This process included tearing down homes and closing off ways to the sea. The process was dangerous and lead to a great deal of death and disease. Eventually, this process led to many people around the world in England. England’s government did not want this developing movement to develop. So, they began denying lands to the peasants.
How the industry evolved over the past centuries
Homes in the 1700s were built without plumbing and indoor plumbing was not even invented for another hundred years or so. The indoor plumbing first debuted around the turn of the 20th century. People were living in their homes for several hundred years before electricity. Real estate agents existed long before the current day. During the 1800s houses were built very quickly, in a matter of years, of bricks and stone. Buildings consisted of only two sides. The other side was just the outside. Houses with iron frames and flat siding and roofs were the standard. Roofs were made from straw to help protect them in the case of snow storms. Builders would also use straw to create shingles for the roof. As each home was built one would use only one piece of building material.
