Coronavirus: Canadians struggle to apply for COVID-19 relief with CRA portal down Canadians who want to apply for COVID-19 benefits or check their application status this weekend will have to wait a little longer.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is doing “routine maintenance” over the weekend, but it comes at a time when many Canadians are already finding it difficult to get the help they need.

The CRA has said in a statement to Global News that some applications for Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) are not immediately approved because the agency is looking to do “more up-front verification” to prove those applying are in fact eligible for the benefit.

Abigail Bimman explains the frustration many Canadians are feeling.

About the author: Republican
As a Republican I am a conservative but have a little libertarian leanings. I about 80% a Trump supporter. I agree with him most of the time but as I am a person that thinks for himself I don't go along with him just because he is the President. I am not like liberals that think their candidates are Gods and never wrong.
